AI Content Disclosure

Last updated: August 2026

Walking With AI is built around artificial intelligence, not around hiding it. This page explains, plainly, where and how AI is used across the platform — as our footer puts it: every track on this platform is AI-composed — human-conducted, AI-performed.

1. The Music Catalog

Every track, lyric, and cover image in Walking With AI's core broadcast catalog is generated by artificial intelligence tools, directed and curated by the Walking With Aida project. "Human-conducted, AI-performed" means a human is choosing direction, theme, and quality bar — but no human vocalist, instrumentalist, or illustrator performed or drew the music or art you're hearing and seeing. Metadata such as genre tags, mood descriptors, and BPM may be extracted algorithmically or AI-assisted, and audio-quality scores shown in the Vault and on track pages are computed by an automated scoring pipeline, not a human reviewer.

Creator-uploaded tracks (published through an individual user's Vault) may or may not involve AI tools — that's each creator's own choice and isn't something we currently label per-track. If that changes, this page will be updated to reflect how creator uploads are labeled.

2. The AI Chat Assistant ("SONIC")

SONIC, the chat assistant available across the platform, is a large language model, not a human curator or support agent. It's used to answer questions about the catalog, recommend tracks, hold a conversation about music, and take simple in-app actions on your behalf (like queueing a song). SONIC is currently powered by a third-party AI provider (BytePlus, serving a DeepSeek-family model) via an API — your messages to SONIC are sent to that provider to generate a response. See our Privacy Policy for how that data is handled.

Like any AI system, SONIC can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently state something inaccurate ("hallucinate"). Don't treat its answers as authoritative, and always verify anything that matters before relying on it.

3. AI Voice & Audio Tools

Certain platform features (such as spoken announcements or narration) may use text-to-speech technology to generate a synthetic voice. We do not use AI to clone the voice or likeness of a real, identifiable person without their explicit consent.

4. What This Means for You

  • Nothing you hear on the core Walking With AI broadcast catalog was performed by a human musician — it's AI-generated audio, start to finish.

  • Conversations with SONIC are processed by a third-party AI model, not read by Walking With AI staff in real time.

  • Recommendations, quality scores, and auto-generated metadata are algorithmic outputs and may be imperfect — see our Disclaimer.

  • We do not use AI to generate deceptive impersonations of real people, and we don't permit that use on creator uploads either (see our Terms of Service).
